Charities

Having worked with both national and local charities, I understand the importance of developing long-term sustainable partnerships with business. The longevity of these can give stability and a greater return on investment for both the charity and the business, as less time is spent on setting up new partnerships each year.

I will help your charity identify, approach and work with businesses to develop mutually beneficial partnerships.

Strategic partnerships create deeper and longer-term impact than one-off donations. Forging the right partnership can deliver impact beyond fundraising and at the same time, can attract significant fundraising too. I am happy to share more about the strategic partnerships I have forged and developed over the years when we connect. Why not book to arrange a 30 minute free introductory call?

There are three key stages to creating and implementing a partnership strategy:

The Discovery Stage

This stage involves fact finding and information gathering to understand what support your charity would like – whether it is for fund raising, volunteers, donated goods, skills or a combination of all of these.

The Strategy

From the information gathered, I can outline different options for partnerships that would fit with your charity, taking into account your charity’s needs, the people and communities it serves, and the size and location of your charity.  Working with you or your team to identify the best fit.

Implementation

Once we have agreed the strategy, we need to develop your approach to relevant businesses. I will help you and your team to consider the best way forward, and share tips for meaningful conversations. If you need support with introductions, I can help with this too. When an agreement has been reached with a business, I can support you to develop ways of working together.

In addition to working with Macmillan Cancer Support and The Hygiene Bank, I have also worked closely with:

  • Business in the Community
  • The Prince’s Trust
  • BBC Children In Need
  • Alzheimer’s Society – Dementia Friends
  • Hestia – Safe Spaces and worked in conjunction with Hestia on the Home Office “Ask for Ani” initiative to help support victims of domestic violence/abuse
  • SARCs – Sexual Assault Referral Centres, through an initiative in conjunction with Clarence House and the then Duchess of Cornwall – supporting victims of sexual assault
