A well thought out ESG or CSR strategy helps build trust in the organisation, for customers, employees and investors, increasing brand value.

It will also enable your business to attract and retain good talent, as employees want to work for companies which are taking action to improve their environmental and social impact. Your ESG or CSR strategy will enhance the culture within your business, boosting morale.

If you don’t already have a CSR or ESG strategy, I can work with you to create a simple, meaningful approach. If you do already have a plan, I can build on it, helping to connect the dots with activity already underway, to create an overarching umbrella of measurable impact, connected with your business.

I will work with you to get under the skin of your business and help you understand the topics that are material to you, your customers, your employees and other stakeholders. From here, we then create a purpose-led strategy which reflects those topics.

I can also help you find a cause that is strategically aligned with your business, where your employees can become advocates for the cause or charity.

There are three key stages to creating and implementing a partnership strategy:

The Discovery Stage

This stage involves fact finding and information gathering from your leadership team, colleagues, customers, clients or patients, to understand what issues are material to the business.

The Strategy

From the information gathered, I can outline different options for a meaningful strategy that would fit with your business, taking into account the feedback from the information gathering stage, the size of your business and whether you want the impact to be local, national or international.  I can guide you to develop these ideas and ensure a strategy balanced for your business is achieved.

Implementation

Once we have agreed the strategy, we will work together on an implementation plan to engage your employees, customers and other stakeholders as required. Identifying and addressing any perceived barriers, ensuring robust internal and external communication plans and defining measurements of success will help deliver the meaningful impact you want.  If a partnership with a relevant charity or organisation is needed, then I can support the approach to forging those relationships or help broker the partnership if you prefer.
